Schedule
- Remote, US-based
- Contract role
- Minimum of 20 hours per week
- Calls must be made between 8:00 AM – 6:00 PM EST
What You’ll Do
- Contact insurance carriers to resolve past-due claims
- Research and update unpaid or denied claims
- Prepare and submit claim appeals with documentation
What You Need
- Prior medical billing or collections experience (ICD-10, HCPCS, terminology)
- Strong communication skills with payers
- Active subscription to Microsoft Word and access to a reliable printer
- Must reside and work in the U.S.
- Independent contractor setup (W9 required)
