What Will You Be Doing?
The IT Quality Assurance Manager’s role is to lead and manage the IT Quality Assurance Department to ensure the production of high-quality products at the lowest cost, while meeting the demands of our customers. The Manager is a leadership position that will ensure that quality controls are implemented and being adhered to throughput the Agile SDLC lifecycle. This leadership role is best suited to a technically strong QA manager with leadership and team building skills along with extremely technical capabilities in manual and automated testing. This role is that of a quality champion and change agent responsible for all aspects of quality and continuous improvement.
Essential Functions
Direct the development of the QA strategy, methodology, discipline, and framework to ensure and continuously improve the quality of assigned products.
Cultivate and disseminate knowledge of quality assurance best practices. Guide and mentor the organization on quality principles such as system, functional, integration, regression, load/performance, and acceptance testing methods
Build strong relationships with business and technology stakeholders and champion continuous improvement initiatives in areas of automated testing and agile testing.
Focus on continuous QA improvements including usage of industry-recognized best practices, appropriate testing tools, test techniques, and test automation.
Ensure the proper use of available tools to gain the maximum benefit of the QA effort. This includes testing tools for functional, performance, manual, automation, etc.
Work with a team of SDETs and QAEs to ensure the highest quality product delivery.
Hold the team accountable and ensure they are successfully collaborating and adapting to the enabling technologies employed through automation.
Create a culture of continuous improvement, change and world class service delivery.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or equivalent combination of technical education and experience
10+ years in the IT QA discipline with hands-on experience developing test automation
Experience in testing web technologies, services
Experience in Agile, Scrum, Kanban and/or Lean software development methodologies
Demonstrated experience building a test automation strategy
Experience working with test automation frameworks/tools as applied to a Microsoft development stack
QA Experience with travel, hotel, car, air, leisure services and loyalty programs is plus
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Exceptional communication, organization, and time management skills
Ability to coach the team to reach their highest potential
Self-starter with high energy to meet the needs of a demanding business and IT environment
Ability to coach teams in the implementing best-in-class test automation techniques
Strong understanding of various QA Tools and Technologies

Work Environment / Remote Work Options
This role can be based at our headquarters in Denver, CO or anywhere in the United States via a remote work arrangement (periodic travel to Denver from a Frontier-serviced city required)
If remote, you must be able to follow our remote work policies, including ability and comfort level working from home with access to a high-speed internet connection
If headquarters-based, typical office environment, adequately heated and cooled
